This trip is getting stranger and stranger .... different people,, diffferent lifestyles, different world. I am exhausted we are on the move all the time but its really interesting to see how things work in this part of the world.
First was Malaysia it was the easy part of this trip we stayed in at 5 star hotel. I never been in a hotel like that before ,great look over the city. The next day we set off to a beautiful island we stayed there for 4 nights the resort was called abduls chalets the staff was there was AMAZING!!! In Thailand we stayed on another Island Resort this one was the one we celebrated my birthday on. My mom got the cook to make a chocolate cake and bring it out in front of the whole restaurant while everybody was singing happy birthday to me I felt very special :) that same night we set off Thai lanterns into the dark night sky, I have been wanting to do that for a long time... We also got to try paddle boards, that was fun you can paddle as fast as you can run. Our jungle adventure was totally amazing! We met some nice people from Montreal and had a great day together!! I don't like to talk about our money being stolen.
Our first hotel in India was great the sculptures in the building are amazing. My mom and my brother thought they fell into heaven wile i just wanted to go home: We just hung out for the first day, but the next day we went to visit a fort. It was a very big fort ,it takes you 30 min to the main base but we walked up to the palace. At one point we were being followed by a lot of people but it turns out they were trying to sell us stuff. We took a train to Jodhpur, there we stay in a havali. We met two young female travelers on the way to a fort we asked them questions about the fort and ended going to the market together and looking around then having dinner together. It makes me feel safer traveling with other people. Today we are going on a camel ride to a camp to sleep in the desert! India is very different from Canada, it can be scary, dirty, hot, but people are very kind and helpful. My mum left her credit card at one place and the manager got on his bike and rode all the way to train station to find us! We were very happy and gave him 500 rupees. Lots of good and bad I suppose. I have begun some school work each morning after breakfast. I thought this was meant to be all fun!
Great post! I really enjoyed reading your thoughts and experiences.
It is true - traveling is a lot of work and is not easy! I am glad you are meeting friendly people along the way and taking it all in with a smile! I love seeing your pictures and can't wait to read more!
Enjoy your time in India. Believe it or not, you'll miss it when you leave!

Hi Ben, sounds like you are having a good time! School is boring but your "school" seems fun. I'm still mad at you for not taking me with you. Pat an elephant for me. Will

Hi Ben,
I have to admit I am not a great traveller, so I envy the opportunity you have to see the world with your family. You will have so may stories to tell and experiences to give you a really rich perspective on life. I enjoyed reading your blog... you are honest and have a good eye for detail.
